Decorative Art can pack a strong decorative punch to a room. Inspiration can be found everywhere. You could borrow a design and colors from fabrics in the room or from your favorite artist Claude Monet, for example or Henri Matisse. Magazines, greeting cards, illustrated books are all great places to search for ideas. Or you may have memories of a favorite place you want to preserve in paint.
Decorative Art doesn't have to be large. You can limit them to small spaces, providing a collection of surprises a vine of flowers over a door or a little bird’s nest sitting on top of the window. Think beyond walls for mural images...doors, cabinet fronts, ceilings and floors are all viable surfaces for artwork.
